PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization, a school-based organization with a mission to make school a better place for students to learn. We are a partnership of parents, family members, teachers and administrators that work together to create fun events, purchase supplies for students and staff, and collaborate with others to make our student’s time at school the best possible. If you have a student at HC Storm, you're already a member! We'd love for you to get more involved. We all work better when we work together
Organize
Organizing school events, activities and fundraisers are a key part to our PTO.

Through fundraising efforts we help provide classroom and recess supplies, subscriptions for students, staff appreciation events, free clubs and enrichment activities, funding for field trips and so much more!

HC Storm PTO restaurant fundraiser at Bocaditos Cafe October 13th, 12-6:30PM. Empanadas, sandwiches, salads, and more. GREEN TEAM:
Storm has enrolled in the Trex Plastic Film Recycling Challenge. We will be competing against other schools in our region to see who can recycle the most plastic bags for a chance to win an outdoor bench made from recycled plastic materials!
Acceptable materials include:
-plastic grocery bags
-plastic produce bags
-plastic sandwich bags (with and without a zipper)
-plastic cereal bags
-plastic cracker bags
-plastic cling wrap
-plastic packaging wrap (paper towels, cases of water, etc.)
-plastic mailers (Remove Mailing Labels)
-plastic air pillows
-bubble wrap
Please collect materials to be recycled in a recyclable plastic bag. There is a collection bin at HC Storm.

Boxtops have gone digital! Download the Boxtops app, select HC Storm Elementary School as your home school and start scanning your receipts! We do fun raffles throughout the year for families that participate!

The H.C. Storm Giving Tree allows parents to donate any teacher requested classroom items throughout the year. For this year the virtual tree will be available here all year long, updated with any new teacher requests. Items will be listed in order of grade level. We are trying to be as flexible as possible with returning items back to school. You may send items to school with your child or drop them off at the front door of HC Storm for the staff to deliver directly to the classroom. If those do not work, please just reach out to Katie Kramer klicciardi@gmail.com to arrange a pick up. Please also return item within 1 week of selecting an item off our "tree".
